History

HNCE has served its commununity for decades. In the late 1950’s Hancock North Central housed grades 1-12, and through the years it has been transformed into Mississippi’s first LEED school, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, serving pre-k through fifth grade students. After Hurricane Katrina, the school was renovated using repurposed materials and energy efficient designs. It truly is a beauty!
