Red Ribbon Week @ HNCE

We had so much fun celebrating Red Ribbon Week at HNCE (October 22nd thru October 26th). This celebration was established as a national drug awareness campaign in 1988 after the death of Drug Enforcement Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena. This week represents taking a stand against alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. It also means that people all over the country are dedicating themselves to healthy lifestyles.  We should exercise, eat right, get plenty of rest, and try to help our friends stay free of drugs.

Students “Put Drugs to Sleep” and were “Tackling Drugs” on some of the dress up days during this fun filled week.
